While I agree with most organizations "it would be cheaper to hire real professionals" ALPA pays their employees very, very well.

There are dozens of other lawyers who work for Cohen, Weiss and Simon and a handful of other "outside" firms that are pulling down six figures doing ALPA work.
Our dues dollars support a massive boondoggle up there in Washington.
ALPA National collected and spent $177.4 million last year.

Last year CWS had about 32 total lawyers. ALPA wasn't even 1/3 of their business.
Of course, you advocated supporting the law firm that had been fired by USAPA, SWAPA, AMFA and a few others...
