Unfortunately if there's one thing this pilot group has proven to management is they are willing to keep moving the line in the sand a little further each time for a small bump in pay. Something like this could easily be sold as "it's just ten more jets and it will feed our operation so we can add more wide body flying".

I am somewhere in the crowd at the Cotton Bowl Texxas Jam that was filmed for the Every Rose Has It's Thorn video...(if I had a "rock hands" emoticon I would put it here)

This one goes out to MSP crew bus riders and while this is mostly a flight attendant issue, I have seen some pilots do this on occasion too. It drives me nuts when people will leave there roller-board bag standing up in front of the luggage rack with their handle fully extended. By doing this you not only take up the floor rack but the second rack as well. This is especially a problem now that we share the bus with Pinnacle crew members as the bus is very crowded. Twice now I've had to lug my bag up the stairs in the back of the bus because there is no room in the luggage rack.
And while I'm complaining, please don't just leave your bag in front of the rear door which blocks any entry and exit from that location.
Ahh, I feel so much better getting that off my chest. I've been carrying that around for the last couple months.

I saw Cheap Trick and Aerosmith in dec. Cheap Trick was sooo disappointing, we wished we had stayed in the bar we were in leading up to the concert, to listen to the band playing there and just waited for aerosmith. I really wanted them to be great too.
Speaking of Styx, if you really wanted to get your late 70's/early 80s on, last year Styx, foreigner and Night Ranger were touring together. There's nothing better than a concert where you know every word to every song. As some are probably aware, Tommy Shaw (styx) has a long relationship doing collaborative work with Night Ranger.

A buddy of mine saw that show and still raves about how Foreigner completely stole the show.
FWIW my favorite concert was Bruce Springsteen in December 1980, at the Spectrum in Philly. It was either the day John Lennon was shot, or perhaps the very next day. The Boss started with a few solemn words about life, then said "The show must go on" and proceeded into a killer version of Born to Run.
Even more energy then most 3 hour Boss concerts.
Vintage Boss, pre-1985 totally rocks, but I must admit I really don't dig his newer acoustical/political stuff.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. That drives me absolutely crazy. What I keep trying to figure out is if they absolutely don't see that they're blocking everything. Or, if they see they're blocking everything and just don't care. Given it's MSP FA's I'm guessing the later.
