I'm getting dizzy from all your spin. Pardon me while I go vomit.
Haven't you been "puking" misinformation & cynicism since you've been on this board?
There's most definitely a high level position for you in the ranks of DPA leadership!!

Nevermind...
Pretty much what one would expect from you when we finally get SOME good news.

As one of the bypass-furlough guys, I will be returning and have been waiting for over a year for this to happen. I fully credit ALPA for allowing me to complete an employment contract (now on a short-term extension) that included active flying. Funny, my last day of active flying was yesterday, I now am on a very sporatic possible fly-list until recalled..........timing could not have better!
The indoc for furloughed guys is pretty casual but pay attention, most of the pay/benefits/PBS stuff has changed.
Speaking of LA, in honor of our prestigious position leading all DAL categories in % of Red-eyes I have made a formal request to usurp the Army slogan, "We own the night."
Henceforth the slogan "We own the night!" is the official motto of the LAX 73N category.
Scoop
737 LAX
We own the night!

Timbo, I was furloughed in 01' and bypassed for awhile before coming back in 2008. I suspect that most of the 200 will not come back. There are guys in my newhire class and other friends who have moved on after 10+ years. Some at FedEx, some at other carriers, some completely out of flying altogether. The FedEx guys ain't coming back, the JetBlue guys, I imagine, are split.
Now Mil Leave is "a whole 'nother thing." Most of the ML guys I know are already back. They got their retirement in and returned.
Oil prices suck. Especially in California.

Well its still next year as this year will be classes of pilots already hired over a decade ago. But still. Hope the growth AC thing comes true.
