Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Guessing, but its in the interest of fewer training cycles to let recalls go where their seniority allows, as opposed to training them on the 717 then whatever they bid into on the next AE. You could conceivably have 100 resultant displacements on a vacancy only bid

Incorrect. They go where the company needs them.
Correct.
I would imagine the returnees will be offered some NYC slots as well as the 717s in ATL and DTW.
Maybe even ATL M88 or 737 if their seniority can hold it. Any place the training is going to occur anyway.
Agree. 717 & M88 are most likely.

I was thinking some of these folks are voluntary furlough types.Thats how the mutual agreement placement would come in, must be a few of those still out.
Aboslutely. During my indoc in 08 we had 3 returnees whom all "bid" international airplanes where their seniority allowed. It should really be no different than MLOA return.
Not a flame tsquare. Just responding to what you said here:
I'm still getting over that queasy feeling.
