Read all that stuff at the top of the pages that everybody scrolls thru and you'll have your answer.

Classic! Thanks for that BB. I laughed so loud my wife came in from two rooms away to ask what was so funny! I had to show her. She laughed pretty good too.

It's free within 24 hrs of departure. I recommend setting an alarm!

So I pre-posted military leave this month (a weeks worth) and with the government shut down my military trip will likely be cancelled. With that in mind I called the CPSC to see if I could cancel my military leave and fill my schedule back up with reserve days (I'm on reserve).

I was informed that the company is under no obligation to do that for me. This response surprised me since we are short reserves over the weekend that I was requesting.

Just a word of advise... It may not be in your best interests to pre-post military leave during these turbulent times. Your efforts to help the company will not be met with the same courtesy.

Exactly. That is why I hardly ever post my MIL LV in advance - too dicey. Even without the shutdown we would always have trips or detachments cancel. Its a trade-off between giving the company adequate notice and ensuring your MIL duty will actually be funded. With that being said I do remember calling the schedulers once and having my MIL LV removed. I assume you already talked to your scheduler?
