I still think I flew on your jumpseat last month and you won't admit it. Young (disgustingly so) FO hand flying the hell out of an Airbus - it's GOTTA be 80! :D
Oh, and Wings FTW! I fly the plane more like a drunken gorilla, anyways. |
+++1+++ for Wings Financial C/U. No financial institution has given me a good reason to leave.

I'll second that!
I was outed on an 88 jumpseat tonight after like 30 seconds of talking to the FO... I'm apparently making this too easy. |

How do u know you're not going to be the one flying below bug plus ten? And if u are should the FO take the controls?
Bluejuice, it was a joke. You must have checked your sense of humor with your bags. |

I doubt its a story at all. 3b6 is long gone, so all the company has to do is offer the differential between the 737-800 and −900 (50 cents for FO and a buck for CA) and say take it or arbitrate. We established the precident of that differential by agreeing to it in good times, so we would lose. That IMO is the ceiling. Of course, there may be scope opportunities elsewhere...
I've come to the conclusion that ANY negotiation that involve a scope element will be viewed as a cave in on scope. No matter whether it is or not, it will be viewed that way. Denny |

Denny What we can't have are secret LOA's by one person that provide generous rebalancing relief to the company. I don't think there is any chance that would have passed MEMRAT. And good or bad we don't need any more scope deals at any level that is pushed through without a comprehensive vetting by the entire group. No more "we have to pass it to see what's in it, time limited urgent opportunity" stuff. |
