Yes, 73B.
but who knows...maybe they would of run out of shortcalls..we are approaching the weekend. And only one of the shortcalls was available for both days I think. Guess I will have to keep drinking!

I wonder if they realize they're not helping themselves get back to their preferred base. If the company can basically utilize them in two bases, why adjust staffing?

Has anyone had a chance to use the tablet? Saw one at the line bs table, stunned at how heavy it is.
aw man, nevermind, the funny gif had a cuss word.
You're partially correct. The trigger point is how long is the notification BEFORE report. From what I'm reading it's different order of RUO from Sec 23 N to Sec 23 O
Sec 23 N(greater than 12 hours notice)
1)Recovery Flying
2)In base WS
3)Long Call
4)Short Call
5)Reserve pilot YS touching X days
6)Out of Base WS
Sec 23 O(less than 12 hours notice)
1)Recovery Flying
2)In base WS
3)Long call YS
4)Out of base WS
5)Short Call
6)Out of base Long call YS
Sec 23 N(greater than 12 hours notice)
1)Recovery Flying
2)In base WS
3)Long Call
4)Short Call
5)Reserve pilot YS touching X days
6)Out of Base WS
Sec 23 O(less than 12 hours notice)
1)Recovery Flying
2)In base WS
3)Long call YS
4)Out of base WS
5)Short Call
6)Out of base Long call YS

In the end, it is still going to be a "company" device, so I will likely still carry an ipad for my stuff. A huge improvement over just 7 years ago when we were lugging around a huge bag for all the manuals!
Going to the basketball game in Thompson Boling tonight, and the UT Vandy game tomorrow. I'm gonna TRY to get a pic with the Vandy girls... no guarantees.. but I'll give it the effort.
I think Flight Ops was pretty clear that because of our business relationship with Microsoft, we were getting the Surface. I suspect that Microsoft is giving them to us at a large discount, and/or paying to develop the software we need. Notice how Flight Ops said two pilots were at Microsoft Business seminar or something, demoing the device?
