I am not sure if it is true or not, but I have read posts that elude to the fact that you are involved with ALPA. If that is the case, how in the world can you post something that says or eludes to flight cancellations being due to pilot sick calls? Really? Who do you represent? This is abhorred, unacceptable... I can't think of any other forum appropriate adjectives that describe my ire.

Par for the course when it comes to the "in" crowd, unfortunately.

Oh keepers of the contractual mojo…have a "what if" for y'all… Am sitting at 75:01 on time…green slip trigger is 75 hours. Picked up a nice one last week when LC/IOE pulled me from trip (yes…I know…applause excepted…). Now then…have a 4 day starting the 27th…what if I were to try and get a GS w/ Conflict for tomorrow, the 26th, that allowed me to get done sooner than the original 4 day? Would that GS w/ Conflict knock me down below the required 75 hours needed to trigger the GS pay? I know that you can go -5 from bank but would that not make it hard to get back up to 75 hours for the trigger by replacing a regular trip on the 27th with a GS w/ Conflict?

I don't work for ALPA.

No it would not. Grab one if you can get it. You will be paid for both trips.

Good luck. I haven't seen any GS w/ Conflict going out. I could have over looked one but spent about 5 minutes looking around and it seems like it's mostly G, H, K & A's going. Heck, White slips are even flowing today LOL

Merry Christmas!
Well, I decided to delve into the GoogleVerse finally, and ended up buying a Nexus7 minitablet, a Samsung Tab3 10.1" tablet, an ASUS Win8.1 tablet/laptop transformer, and minecraft accounts for kids.
Wow everything is quite different to childprotect... I'm in IT hell kinda, networking it all up (not bad), adding kid's accounts (bit painful), setting protections for kids (very painful), and setting up games for kids accounts via admin account (uber painful as they force me to install various java updates etc...)

Now I'm running XPpro, Win2001Pro, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Android 4.3 SamsungFlavor, Android4.3 JellyBean, and two iPhones syncing around the place. Oh yeah, and two PS3 media servers and a network file server and network printer.

For myself for Xmas, I got some MP3s of Gregorian Chants and a flail. Starting to wish I was flying...

You may need to un-ire yourself. I doubt Sailing has any function in ALPA. He's a senior captain that seems to have a variety of friends, some of which sound like friends of the pilot group, some that seem to be friends of just senior captains, some that seem to really dig management. So he's sort of management-adjacent, and sometimes delivers their spin faster than a LCA meeting ever could. He's also knowledgeable and informative.

Like you, he struggles with some terms. He doesn't differentiate between "your" and "you're". You can elude to that on your next post. He'll really abhor it.

And Merry Christmas.

From a long time lurker....Happy Holidays to all you guys. I started coming to this site for info as a Delta guy but have become addicted. Some pretty funny mofos on here...seems like a lot of the sharpest guys on here are fairly junior....speaks to a good future for the airline...or air line.
