I'd call DALPA Contract Admin and ask them first, they'll tell you how to play it with the Company. I know a buddy of mine dropped the 62hr. SIN trip and was paid for it this mo. because PBS gave it to him with less than three nights home between trips.

Here is the rule.

14 CFR Part 117 requires the company to provide a rest period of 56 hours minimum for flight duty periods or a series of flight duty periods that travel more than 60 degrees longitude and time away from home base is longer than 168 hours. The 56 hour minimum rest period must encompass three physiological nights’ rest based on home base local time.

I'll do that. The new rules as they apply to us (777) are very cryptic.

In addition to physical illness, per the FOM pilots will not report for duty within 24 hours of
receiving an immunization, donating blood or blood components, donating bone marrow,
scuba diving (using compressed air or oxygen), or any major medical procedure or surgery.

Thanks SF. I see the word "AND" in there, for the 168hrs. away from base...

168/24 = 7 days.

That cuts it down to about one trip for us Scambo, the 10 day SIN.

I'm a chicken with a big yellow stripe on my back when it cones to Aspen. I usually deploy the limo to Rifle over Omaha or Farmington VOR, tell the pax it's 50/50 and plan a taxi IF we land at Aspen. Cross Red Table, in cloud or winds out of limits, and turn for Rifle. I landed there one day and Approach couldn't believe I wasn't, at least, giving Aspen a try. They kept talking about Aspen and FO kept saying Rifle.
