Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Some have said their little Garmin hand held GPS's have shown speeds as high as 20kts, but I have only seen 17.7 on mine. This video (and my boat) is on a 16' cat though, the 18's and 20's are a bit faster, as you would expect.
Now, if you really want to blow some dough, there are new full foiling, 100% carbon fiber 16' and 20' cats that claim 30 knots up on the foils, but the 16' costs over $30K and I think the 20' is about $45K!
Too rich for my blood!

Here's a carbon 25' foiling cat, but it's also got a solid wing. These are called C cats, and they are well over $100K Groupama C V1 - YouTube

Ok - so tomorrow is day four of my four day trip. With the exception of leg one, this whole thing has been one big reroute. Tomorrow they have me DH'ing to ATL and that's it - problem is, I'm MSP based. So the question is, can they build an open ended trip like this? My rotation makes no mention of actually getting me back to base and there is currently no scheduled release. BTW, I'm a regular line holder.

What sort of reaction are you looking for, that wouldn't look impatient or foolish? The union has already told us in writing that we should respect the terms of the PWA WRT conflicts with Part 117. Meanwhile, negotiators are sitting at the table (fine), but evidently not yielding (even better).
This is the part where we sit tight, like big boys and girls, and make sure that we respect our actual obligations, while negotiations take place. All we need to do is calmly defend our rights, and time is our leverage. Hystrionics demonstrate impatience, and impatience demonstrates a willingness to agree to weak terms.
Check your calendar: we're not even in our second month under Part 117.

I must say the letter just put out by the new MEC Chairman (Donatelli) is the best I have seen. Encouraging signs.

Larry Ellison isn't talking but all estimates are that he spent somewhere between $120m and $200m of his own money defending the Auld Cup this go around. The boats themselves "only" cost around $10m in materials apiece (the Oracle program had 2) but they required a small army to build, maintain, tweak, and sail them. Next time around I expect we'll see a smaller, somewhat cheaper version of the AC72 class...but they're absolutely amazing boats, & the America's Cup stirred up a lot of interest in smaller foiling cats like the ones Timbo is posting.

That's some seriously stupid driving there in MKE. I like the guy at the 1:00 mark who comes in fast, exits stage right into the boonies, perhaps never to be seen again.
