This statement is bs. If that many guys supported, the vote would have happened by now. I was a strong DPA supporter at the beginning. I voted hell no to our current contract, and I'll probably vote no to every contract from here on out. I will not renew my DPA card though. I have decided that ALPA is the better choice. I will not vote on emotion.

I counted the NYC7ERB category shrinking by 7. I thought there were posted vacancies.

There were no posted vacancies for NYC7ERF/O. All of the AE's for that position were due to backfilling and there were 2 reinstatements. I counted it as a wash as equal people moved in that moved out so the category remains the same size.

You voted "he'll no" to C2012. You state that you'll "probably vote no to every contract from here on out (but you"will not vote on emotion")" even though you have no idea what will be in future contracts. Presumably you base this position (voting no) on the belief that ALPA has proven time and time again that they are incapable of delivering (on this I agree with you). And yet in spite of this reality, you believe "ALPA is the better choice"???????

You should put in a resume with the ALPA Comm Committee. I'm sure they could use your persuasive writing skills.

Could someone please explain what the difference between the yes/no options for "award flying on 7am PCS run" when doing generic white slipping with parameters. If the trip meets your selected parameters aren't you going to be awarded the trip regardless of whether or not you selected yes or no?

If the trip is for the day after tomorrow and you are inputting the request after the last PCS run of the current day, your final option for getting the trip would be on the POCS run the day prior. Once the 0700 PCS run is complete all next day awards are manually determined by the scheduler and you have no chance of getting it, or so my limited understanding is of all that.

Actually, I think the comments you're getting might be a bit dismissive. It's like you're going for the same chew toy you went for as a pup, thinking you're in an epic battle, but there's just no air left in it. To be fair, the DPA's been ripping it to shreds too, and they haven't been fresh, or new, or puppy-like, for years.

Hockey;

Your conclusion is not supported by its documentation. Did you write FAR117?

IOW check yes.

I think part of the Int'l TOE guide is to call in sick prior to the 0700 run so guys can whiteslip. This may be changing to mid-afternoon so guys can greenslip. We'll see what happens when the TOE guide is republished.
