Gonna do a ferry flight followed by a deadhead. I don't believe I have to wear the uniform for the ferry flight. Does anyone know for sure and if not, where is the reference? Thanks

Quick question about PBS, is Duty legs legs per day? I haven't tried to avoid trips with too many legs per day before on account of my juniority, but if I put in "avoid trips with duty legs greater than 2, " that will try to avoid trips with more than two legs per day correct? And if that is my only negative bid, if it can't avoid all those trips, it will drop that preference and try again with the rest of the trips in the pot again, right?
Thanks, E
Thanks, E
The "followed by a deadhead" angle is another story. I hate to deadhead but I find it to be easier in uniform. Just so I can go down early and stick my bags in the overhead. (that's domestic. I actually enjoy international deadheads. In civvies. With a nice Courvoisier and some breadsticks

I don't have a reference but I've done lots of maintenance flights and ferry flights in civvies. The mechanics and gate agents don't care what you wear.

)Yeah, I just got nailed by crew scheduling, unbelievable so. I bet they are still laughing. Since March 21st I've flown 90:28 so until April 18th at noon or so, I'm only good for 9:32. I'm on call thru the 18th, silly me, I thought (in my international category) I'd be sitting at home. DOH! I just got called for a 6 day trip that gets back about 0900 on the 18th. Scheduled block is 6:45. DH to NRT layover DH to SIN layover ferry flt SIN to NRT layover DH back to SEA....
The sad part is I thought I had worked my schedule to perfection this month. But for this trip I have.
Bring on the breadsticks and keep'em comin'!!!
