Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
That's a good question, if you have 5 days available and there is a 4-day with no RES coverage. You put in a GS for that trip. Instead of giving it to you they break it up. Is that the same as bypassing you?

Quick question about getting out of a trip to OE. I'm flying a trip later this month with a LCA. I'm hoping to not fly it, but still get paid. There is no one assigned to it right now for OE. When I pull up the LCA's schedule, it says LOE to the left of the rotation in icrew. Does that mean he has made himself available for OE or that the training department plans on assigning him OE? I'm wondering what the chances are of me getting out of this trip. I know I have no control over it, but I might try and trade trip for one with a better overnight depending on the odds.

No one else assigned to it. My schedule looks normal. Check airman's schedule has the LOE next to it. It's only this trip though. All his other trips look normal. Maybe he had a student that was taken away?
Sounds like they are planning for him to do an OE, but just haven't assigned it to a NH yet. They might not get around to it until a day or so prior to report. If you can trade it for a better trip, might be worth it to go ahead and do it now. Unless you want to roll the dice that whoever they have in mind for it will be ready. If they're not, it's your trip.

Does a spill-over GS count as #1 for new month as well as originating month? I see you do have to hit the GS trigger for it to pay in in following month---need to pick up a couple hours in addition to 5 hrs bank.

However, is it legal?
It happens so much I just assumed it is legal. Otherwise they would owe us a LOT of money.
Hmmm.
