I think it is wrongheaded to engage in a debate about whether military or regional pilots are the better pilots. We all passed the interview and do the work. I do think it is important to point out that I personally was both a regional and a military pilot before Delta and, consequently, better than everybody else here. ; )

Yeah, but Gruden also thought Manziel was gonna go a lot earlier than he did. Just shows to go ya that his opinion is just as full of dung as anybody's... You never know until they show up at training camp, but my money says that Manziel and Clowney are both good for a year or two tops...

IIRC, there is something major in 2015 I think WRT SkyWest/ASA, their CPA and ATL.

Does anyone know if DL dumps them if SKYW, inc would still own the gates? They extorted DAL big time in exchange for essentially loaning us 400M of the billions of our own money we gave them in the years prior, only to be guaranteed to be paid back way more than that. With whatever is happening in 2015, can we really dump them without consequence, or do they still have a claim to (a lot of) ATL gates?

Not only that but a flow still wouldn't stop the exodus of the bottom 4/5 of their list as everyone else ramps up hiring.

Or does that mean a DCI pilot is also a United pilot because they sometimes fly for the "United side"? If a DCI pilot flies for a, let's just say "prolific" outsource provider, can they at the same time be a Delta, United and American pilot?

The time to fix this by annointing groups with ALPA holy water are over. That ship has sailed. This is a mainline problem with a mainline solution. It can only be fixed with bringing flying in house and staffing it with new hires at the bottom of the list with DL DOH for longevity. That's just how it is.
