I hear you. As an early 2000 hire I am in the same boat - the "USS Stagnation." :D What equipment in ATL? But remember in my post I said 2000 and 2001 hires and I also said it was seat/category specific. Scoop |

Every category is different. I don't know how you have only improved 20 numbers. I suspect at least 80 new hires have been added to the ATL B category. Certainly your opportunities system wide are improved. Every time I go to work I see guys who flew right seat for me for years with 4 stripes. It's a great thing to see.
Edit: looks like about 160 new hires have been placed on the ATL M88b position. A 2001 hire may have only moved up 20 numbers but his relative position should have improved far more with the category 20% larger. |
The company will not add captain positions going into the fall. They do this every year with every higher paying position. They keep it lean and flex up the summer. Delta staffs airline seasonally.

Does anyone know the rule for sliding a vacation toward a major holiday? Can the slid vacation only be within one day or two days of the holiday? Specifically, I am trying to slide an early Nov vacation to later in the month. Where is this info? I can't find it in the vacation section of the PWA.:mad:

C2012 mainline growth??? The growth is due to Delta's decision to add aircraft. Although we will never know for sure, I strongly suspect that much of that growth would have happened one way or the other. |
