forgot to bid 01-05-2015 02:02 PM

We need a name for pilots who like to hang out on the PA.

And those who like to kill airflow on full airplanes ASAP during deboarding.

We do, but I don't think they let us use those words here.

There's a whole thread on these guys, titled...

Tool of the Day.

I think you could just call them Todd for short.

As in, "I'm flying with Todd..." :D

On a side note, for any one due payback days, either put back on your schedule or put in the PB day bank, make sure scheduling actually puts them where they are supposed to go. I have seen 3 instances in the last week where they have not given them when they are due. One was my own experience. I had to call CS to get them. Another instance, a guy went on a GS trip where the first day only was on a reserve off day. CS did not put the PB day at the end of his trip and when he got back, they assigned him a one day trip on what should have been his payback day. I told him he should get paid for that trip above the guarantee too and get the day back again! I don't know what happened but be vigilant and get what you are due!

Denny

PB days that carry over into your bank b/c you where off the end of the month on Resv for the GS. Do you have to PD then call CS to get it turned into a PB day/they have to have coverage? Why can we not pick our PB day, we helped them out with the GS.

Don't forget the ones that have no airflow on a full aircraft until 5 min before push!

On resv and your flight gets in at 0300 into a PB day b/c of WX. Do you get paid over the cap 5.15 since you went into your PB day?

:D That's funny.

I was hired at Continental Express around 1100 on the seniority list and upgraded to Captain around 1200.

Now that I've had a chance to really look at these 5 day trips in terms of what the trips are and what they've replaced in the bid package, imho, they suck.

There hasn't been one where you honestly could say "well, I wouldn't mind that."

BTW, how is the FSD overnight?
