You could do that, and there are a few other ways too. What you really need to do is call the experts, on the PBS Help Line. They can walk you through it, while you are logged on to Navtech. They can tell you exactly what and how to bid. Do you need the ph. number? It's the same as when calling crew scheds, just listen to all the Scheduling menu options.

Listen to Timbo on this one! Call the PBS help guys. You will do better then many senior bidders if you do!

Here at AA. Deal is crap. We don't get profit sharing like you guys and the TA has major holes in it which include:

-no min calendar day credit (just per duty period) we have 11 hour 3 days
-A321 pay is at A320 rate even though it carries same pax as 757. New A321neo will be able to do Europe at narrow body rates.
-5 YEARS duration which puts us well into 2020+ before a contract that doesn't have bk work rules.

I think you will find the A321 NEO is not much of a transatlantic aircraft. Airbus is however working on a longer range version that won't be out until 2019 or later. It will have the range of the 757 if operated off long runways.

That's the one I am talking about. Since we are the world's largest operator of A321s, management wants more. They love the lower fuel burn over the 757.

American ?evaluating? proposed long-range A321neo - 11/4/2014 - Flight Global

No changes to scope. APA held the line on it. Although we are currently adding a ton of 76 seaters (similar to your scope) that we had to cave to during bk.

This round, management created rumors of wanting 81 seats on E175s (adding 5 more)... they started talking about it months ago to wind everyone up and it worked. APA and everyone have now realized it was a red herring to make up manufactured negotiating capital. Management pulled it off the table right away.

I guess we'll see. You guys still have a pension, our 321's will only pay a few bucks more than a 320, and 117 is basically our work rules. Our new and improved daily guarantee is creating havoc with rotation construction, resulting in 5 day death marches and uncommutable rosters.

Do we even have a 321 pay-rate yet?

Tax Prep

I know we talked about this last year, in the beginning of the year but I can't get the above search function to go past August.

What are the TAX Services folks have used to calculate the correct per diem?

What about Preferential Bidding System (PBS) ?

Does this new AA agreement include that?

I know from talking to a couple of my friends at AA that was a really big issue in Bankruptcy but I haven't heard much about it lately.

I did that last night and it worked. Remember the IT Gods have decreed that we shall have a single unified password that will work for all DAL IT applications.........................except PBS. Double check your password.

Password is the same I have used for months. I tried resetting it via the web version and it dosent recognize my PPR number. I can login via the web based, but it says " no data loaded for current bid period". What a PITA.
