Ok, it's been a day... when are those dang AE results coming out??? ;)
And the Feb schedules should be out too.
Worse than Christmas as a kid, I can't stand the waiting...

Good luck on the AE, folks. We're all counting on you.

Hopefully we'll see some of our FOs doing the "I'm going to be a Delta Captain Dance."

I'm usually not that into chicks, but this one is kind of cute. : )

On another note:
Windows 7 64 bit. Blue Screen of Death, stop 50. SRTSPL64.sys. Semantic Endpoint Protection crashed first my wife's computer last year, and now mine. I'm totally tired of SEP crashing me every 6 months or so... problem is I got it free from USAF when they bought license for everyone's home computers to keep viruses from originating there and coming to work. And truthfully, it HAS protected me from viruses (except itself) for 7 years or so...
Trying to decide if it's worth the 6 month crashes and ensuing hours and hours of analysis only to find it was Semantic again, for a free AV suite that seems to work otherwise.
What are folks recommendations on free or low-cost AV/spyware solutions out there?
Thx.

Which Operating System are you planning to use?

Windows - Microsoft's (free) Security Essentials + Spybot Search & Destroy for the times you want to do a deep dive. Generally keep your windows security settings Medium High and Firewall on.

Just sayin...

You're probably right, but one would think that current union members would encourage co-workers to also join a union and have some of the same protections and benefits that they have. Isn't that what part of being in a union is all about?

I know...utopia...but at least I can try. I know there's many guys out there that will support us, but also know there are plenty that could care less if we're all outsourced to Mexico.

I for one would support it. Mainly so our union could stop using the FAs as a scapegoat on why we shouldn't/can't ask for improvements in certain areas. With a contract, the FAs would have all perks and rules established and any gains would need negotiation. As it stands now, we pay dues and essentially negotiate for the other groups.

It would be nice if the flight attendant group wouldn't have to ride the coattails of the pilots and other unionized flight attendants. Plus, a lot of the tattling on both part could end with the respective professional standards committees working together. There's usually no need to get management involved...

I use AVG. Works pretty well. I don't like Windows security because you can't right click on a file and execute a scan, only on the folder the file is in. Besides that it is very good now.
