I agree, you have to have 15 years ish to get on the 330 in today's number. I find it hard to believe it will get to new hires.

And I would imagine there are some fNWA guys on that airplane in DTW that will want NYC for commute reasons. I'll bet it will be a senior category unlike the ER. It should have only JFK departures and very little domestic so it won't be anything like the ER category.

What kind of contract violation is it when the company puts two captains and one FO on an international flight?

Unless one of the CA's was a LCA its not legal since a Captain can't occupy the right seat. Hard to make the breaks work out with that restriction.

2 cents, I also heard around the training center:
DCI is not delivering the schedule
"717 and 737 deliveries are accelerating"
A330 fleet is to expect new hires with NYC cats opening
E periods on M88
E periods on 737, LAX dudes only
MIA location for 320 starting Spring

In regard to accelerating the 717, I'm not sure how/why DAL can do that. While I was in training the limiting factor was available 717 simulator time. Basically 100% of all available simulator time on the 717 was spoken for, which limits us to 3 deliveries per month, it wouldn't make sense to accelerate the schedule since we've got nobody to fly them. At least that's what I was told while I was in training.

I think you are miss reading that section. You can borrow up to 20 hours in one bid period. You can go to 30 negative overall.

Well lately in Atlanta the FO side is sitting with 30 available and 10-13 required. Of course, that can change in a moment.

No, it's something in the system I think. Im at -18 and want to borrow 7 and it will not let me. Im at 58 hours for the month due to a few p/d's, but I saw nothing that this should affect my ability to grab a few from the bank.
