Orvil,

I thought about starting a new thread but was unsure and decided to put the information in this thread.

I am sure that others in the APC community would be glad to help out but I did not want to start a trend that ends up with us all getting multiple charity solicitations every time we log on.

The generosity of the Delta family never ceases to amaze me - they are almost at their goal within 2 days! :)

Scoop,

I agree with you. That's why I hesitated. When I just looked the level was at $23,702. Let's make a push to get this to the top.

White Slip obligations during IROPS

Hey guys, I picked up a WS showed up and they keep slipping the departure time. It was a one leg out and next day back worth 10.5. what is my obligation to sit here in the crew room? Also when they can't get me back the next day within 4 hours of scheduled arrival what are my options?

If they cancel the trip what do I get paid? I've been here 5 hours now... hopefully it's not just assignment pay.

We are taking 10 to 12 A350 in 18 and there are no planned 767 retirements so that will be the first year with real widebody growth.

At this point we're down 3 wide bodies from last year. At the end of 2015 another 5 747's will be parked = 8 747's gone but we get 4 330's = down 4 WB's at the end of 2015. In 2016 we get 4 more 330 which would make the balance 0 providing nothing else get retired. That's zero WB growth till the end of 2016.The remaining 8 747's will be gone by the end of 2017. At this time last year there was no mention of any 747's leaving the fleet so don't be surprised to see some 767 disappear. All this is happening while things are "good". So where's is the growth???

If this is the first leg of your trip you have to be airborne with six hours of report. If not airborne you are free to go home with the trip guarantee and no other obligation. I'm looking for the reference for you.

The contract says end of calendar day or 4 hours whichever is later. If you're supposed to finish before 8pm, then can reroute you until midnight.

Well, one more hour and im home free then!

Hockey, what stinks about that is that my WS preferences were for a trip to return by 1400. Now they COULD deadhead me home on time but I'm sure they will use me up till midnight and I will miss all my son's game.

Dirty,

Look at 23.K.c-d. From what I can tell based on your info 23.k.c applies as long as you contact CS after six hours from report. You should be free to go after the six hours as long as they did not schedule before 5:59. That's how I interpret the language. Good luck

That would be 23k and that would be if his rotation got cancelled. Reading his post it just looks like the departure time gets pushed back not cancelled.

What SW is quoting is 23K and he is correct if your rotation has been cancelled, however if they are just continually pushing back your departure time they have until your duty day runs out.
