Guys and girls,

Todd's only $738 away from his goal. Spread the word in the cockpits. If you are on here and haven't donated, please reconsider.

He has publicly stated that he would fly 365 days a year if the FARs and contract allowed. He will undoubtedly go into a deep depression when he retires (because he knows no life other than this) and will probably die a week later. Oh well, at least his family will get a good payout.

Don't know the man, but is it possible he has exes he's having to pay?

The definition of this word is: when a new hire flies to BKK for a little R&R;), but wants to jumpseat in order to cover his tracks and stay below the radar, but doesn't know how it's done and then asks how to do it on here, that new hire is a ___________.

On day one of systems class for the MD-88, Billy Bob, having only flown Boeings previously was heard to exclaim, "What in the hell kind of pre-vertion is this?"

Pre-vert...

To pick a reasonable divert before being given permission by dispatcher!

Or....Pre-vert

a sick out when you're scheduled for a line check by a certain ATL 88 LCA!

More like call in and have scheduling put you on hold for 10-15 so they can come back and tell you their supervisor is looking at it and will call you back. Then when you never get the call back you call the next day and they say, "Yeah, someone senior to you had a GS request in." So they get paid. Which is great, but who wants to do all the work for someone else?

Sounds like the job description of one of those money grubbing ALPA reps.

Awesome! Cheers to Scoop for bringing it to our attention, NERD for his challenge and everyone else who wanted to relieve a small amount of the suffering for Todd and his family. Great to know all the good people out there can make a difference.

Question on the 365 day AE

Let's assume I am the last person on the list to get an ATL 717 award. If there is a subsequent AE with ATL openings, is it possible that somebody junior to me could get to ATL faster than me if they're on a subsequent AE without the 365 caveat?

EDIT: removed question 2, figured it out

Thanks

Nope he's on wife 1.0 and has two children. AnFO I flew with said he commented on "having" to go to his daughters graduation unless he got a GS. He wears a fishing cap in the cockpit along with made up sleeves. BTW he's so cheap he won't buy rounds on layovers. Wait he belongs on the TOTD thread.

I understand why 717 LAX is considered a new category as far as freezes, but why SEA 73N and NYC 330? I thought that the newness wore off after the first AE?
