I saw that. I'm flying out of SAT on the only direct flight to NYC so the extra 50 seats won't be a factor. I have to leave home a little earlier but it is a lot easier to book and takes some of the stress out of connecting through ATL.

On a separate note, I just downloaded what I thought was the official Delta app for my tablet but what I grabbed was definitely not what I was looking for. Does a Delta app exist for RT? How ironic would that be if one didn't exist?

Looks like LAX 717A isn't gonna be a junior category, at least on initial bid. Yikes, and thats not including the Monday AM last minute dudes. Thinking it will barely break 7000, if at all.

The seat pad was only half the thickness of the rest of the seats on the plane and there was no arm rest on the bulkhead side of the seat. Most uncomfortable coach seat I've ever had to sit in.
She gave you the exit seat because she thought you had a better than even chance of opening the exit without chipping a nail. I get 'em all the time, even though I have my two service dogs with me.

It saddens me to see that post from an ALPA guy.
If the union agrees with management that most guys who call in sick are just pretending, we are in trouble.

Don't miss an American masterpiece. "The Jerk" just started on Comedy Central at 10cst.

The last robo call violated his rest but its okay because we almost put one in the drink and the weather sucks. Is that what you're saying?

Granted this blurb comes from some Aviation website I've never heard of, but it would be good news if true:

Finland's Blue to offload B717 fleet to Volotea, Delta - ch-aviation.com

The Swedish aviation news site claims the Finnish operator's remaining five B717s will end up with Delta Air Lines (DL, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson), now the world's largest operator of the type with eighty-eight mostly ex-AirTran Airways (FL, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson) jets acquired from Southwest Airlines (WN, Dallas Love Field). Other operators that had expressed a keen interest in the Finnish B717s include Qantas (QF, Sydney Kingford Smith) and Hawaiian Airlines (HA, Honolulu).

It's true per the big boss.
We also bought the last few Pratt powered 757's.

I saw that. There is a ton of pent up demand for movement from 15+ year FOs in the west. At least it will start breaking the log jam. On that note anyone have a guess what the trips will look like for that category? Wondering if it'll be normal distribution of 2,3,4 day trips or a lot of 1 day out and back stuff. Hazards of bidding a new category I guess. How are people who are on it liking the plane so far?

Default AE closes next week

Any guesses on the juniority of the NYC88A plug after this AE? 10600 last go. After yesterday, I'm guessing some may be rethinking their preferences. No positions posted so it would only be back fills.
