What's the quick and dirty on how GSWCs are paid? Rotation A is in open time worth 40 hours and eventually conflicts with Rotation B on my line worth 25 hours....how is the pay calculated? I couldn't find anything in the PWA that addresses payout.

Single pay for each rotation, the one flown and the one dropped.

Just a finer point of clarification. When I put in for a GS, I have a 3 day minimum parameter.

When I put in for a GSWC, I don't.

Iow, you should consider carefully what basic parameters you set up when you preload your pcs slip request parameters.

I haven't been there since the invasion, so things have changed a bit. Still, I would go see the Mira Flores locks (or any of the other locks) on the Panama Canal and watch them in action. It's pretty impressive. Most of the hangouts we knew of don't exist any more. The seafood is excellent and there are a lot of great restaurants.

Fairy new at the company. Does anybody know if we are allowed to sleep in the crew room overnight? Or is it frowned upon. I have a trip coming up where I land at midnight and leave the next day at 7am. Seems like a hotel would be a waste.
