Carl

The wife and I did one several years ago,$299 each for seven days through Dargal.com. I haven't seen one at that price in years though. It was nice, although we were the youngest on the ship by far.

Someone else mentioned the rent your own boat. We rented ours through LeBoat.com and it was a blast. Very Leisurely, met lots of great people, drank lots of fresh wine (not that old stuff! :)). Also look for locaboat.com.

If you don't want to drive yourself, try: Enchante we got a tour, and it looked very nice, and the smell from the kitchen was amazing.

Yep just put *then the number of days of the trip you want, if you hit F5 or help on the bottom of the page it will explain wildcard swaps which is what they are called.

Do yourself a favor and get easy swap. You need to spend the $10/mo for flightline, but it's tax deductible and you get open time trip alerts to boot.

You can literally sort and send 200 blind "bid package" trip swaps in 5 minutes.

I never use * for swaps... way too much chance of getting a terrible trip.

If I pot swap for a late Oct trip that spills over into Nov (x days), does that allow me pay-back days the same way a Green Slip in a res month would?

I believe cub is right. If you took a GS in OCT that spilled you might have a case where you could recover your X days but as I understand it the PB days will just go to your next on duty days so at the beginning of the month probably not much benefit except like cub said in that you would get credit towards your mins for NOV.
Remember too that all trip credit flows to the last day of the trip so all you'd get paid for notionally is the day/s in OCT.

I feel like an 80 year old on his first smarthphone trying to deal with Icrew. Is this flightline more user friendly? That alone might be worth the fee.

Thanks, hockey. I was reading it wrong and holding on to hope. Now I understand how to use the CSSN function on Navtech. Time to find a better Thansgiving layover in open time. Ugh.

Thanks Cub and LUV. I called CS and they confirmed your answers.

Two totally different animals... I have both.

Flightline trip alerts and, to a lesser extent, easy swap gives me more time off and tens of thousands of dollars more per year.

So is it worth ten bucks per month.... um, yes?
