You will love this...............reserve in September and regular line in October with 77:30 hard time, done on October 16. Assigned a 7 day 40 hour hard time trip on reserve at the end of September. Now have a 100 in 28 violation so my 4 day 27 hour HKG trip gets dropped and paid. Scheduling was aware of the conflict because I told them. Throw in a green slip and get a PVG 4 day worth 24(X2). I fly 11 days for 129 hours because of a company induced conflict. By the way, I'm not complaining!

How about this................for November I'm on reserve again. Have a week of vacation plus one sup day that I slid to cover Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I have two groups of 4 days on call and one group of 3 days. Here is the kicker------------there is not a scheduled trip in the bid package that I can be assigned to fly!

Denny

Edit: I should add that, after I made sure the scheduler was aware of the conflict which she already was, she said I should throw in a GS...

Default CDG Wife Transpo

Heading out on a trip to CDG soon (1st time there). Wife is gonna come with. What's the best method of transport for her from CDG to the Pullman hotel? Is the crew bus even an option?

No option for the crew bus leaving the airport. Air France bus is easy and drops her right in front of the hotel. 13 Euros I think. Easy to find the bus coming out of customs. Used to run every 30 minutes. She can ride the crew bus back with you. No problem at all on a weekend. On a weekday you might not get there by the 90 minutes check in time. Might be able to mitigate that by checking in online.

Non-revving she could check in as late as 60 minutes prior as long as she is listed 90 minutes prior.

I would definitely try to check in online though, although the CDG station may be one of the ones where you can't.

Crew bus is not an option because you get picked up plane side. Most people who bring family to CDG send them on the train. There is a bunch of info on chit-chat regarding how to do it.

Print this off and pass it around the bus:

Study: Your cat might actually want to kill you

But just remember, while cats may actively be plotting to kill you, at least they're not CNBC debate moderators.

This spring, showed up at CDG 2:20 prior to takeoff via train with family in tow for the BOS flight and just BARELY made it to the gate before they closed the door.

The ATL flt early and late may not be bad, but all the others seem to leave in the same 2hr window making lines at the checkin, customs check, and security formidable.
YMMV, Luv

Thanks for the CDG tips. Copy...be there way early!

Now I have a reason to register for chit-chat.
