That makes sense then. I guess I was comparing it to banking hours these past few months on first year pay and cashing them in on higher pay later. Thanks for setting me straight. Cheers!

Appreciate any wisdom.

I'm in a similar situation. What will his pay be this month if he banks 5 hours? Will he be paid (18:31 * $70) + (65:46 * $111), or will he be paid (23:31 * $70) + (60:46 * $111), or will it be proportionally blended between the two?

Interesting twist. Hadn't even thought about that...

Flying is important. But grammar is importanter. I guess that's what I was trying to say. How does the current paycheck look if I bank hours on mixed pay scales? Thanks for clarifying my question.

Hours are added to the bank when the month closes. You cannot designate which trip you want the hours taken from. As such, I'd venture to guess that you will get 5 hours less of 2nd year pay.

I concur, due to slow load times, shut the thread and have Guard Dude make the last post.
The last post should have a kitten, a bunny, a honey badger and cheerleader underboob.

Default NYC co-terminal reserve question

I have a relative who lives in NJ, 20 minutes from EWR and they have offered to let me crash with them free of charge. Is that kosher when on reserve covering EWR/LGA/JFK on the 88?

Yes, readily available to any airport in NYC (generally considered 2 hours); LA it has to be LAX.

This would be a great time to re-watch the honey badger / md88 video...epic L&G stuff there.

We also need a revisit from Boomer to help us talk $h!t about SW.
