I called back and asked why if it was already assigned to me and the only explanation I got was he is senior and we get 2 hours to fix our mistakes.

I thought once they moved on and someone accept the trip then it is yours.

Should I get regular pay since in was on my schedule and I accepted it?

Thanks,
Call and ask scheduling supervisor.
Less than 12 hours they dont hold it and they move on. Once you accept the trip it should be yours.
If you dont like the answer call 1800 USA ALPA..ask for old Delta Scheduling Supervisor

The only way the could have messed up is if they did not call that senior pilot. He looked in Icrew and called them

If you are going to the employee lot give yourself 20-30 extra minutes. If you are getting dropped off at the airport get dropped off downstairs (arrivals) that will save you 15 minutes of gridlock.

Obvious an accident could change all of this. I pretty much use the above times and have never been late but I also use the carpool lane.

PM me if you have any more questions.

But be careful, the first day of spring was yesterday.

Awesome. Thanks so much. I love the clip. The kids have really enjoyed the traffic (not so much butt hey do like the lane splitting motorcyclists).

Thanks again.

Thanks,
You are getting paid for it.
Reference PWA 23.Q.13

They can correct errors up to 2 hours prior to report.
If its inside 2 hours, you are paid protected if they made a mistake

He does not have 2 hours to fix the mistake.
He has "up to" 2 hours prior to reporting to fix it.

Here's the kicker...your responsibility to accept the trip is NOT ABSOLUTE. Let's say your wife works. If I had 2 RES days at the end of the month, and then I was off for a REG line the following month, and my wife happened to be working on the first day of that month, I would tell the scheduler that I couldn't accept the trip because I didn't have child care coverage. That would be perfectly acceptable, and they would have to find a replacement. There are other acceptable reasons, but you better have your game face on when you pull the trigger, because it may get a CPR (Chief Pilot Report) placed on your line, but you're perfectly within your rights of the PWA to refuse the trip IF YOU HAVE a valid reason. You DO NOT have to work on your days off, but YOU BETTER have a valid reason if you make that call.

Reserve/Reroute ?? for the experts.

If you are FULL for the month and get rerouted into a FULL day, are you entitled to any reroute pay or payback days? I would think a reserve that has flown over the ALV for the month should be entitled to reroute pay or payback days for working on days off or FULL days.

First time in 8 years I have filled up on reserve.

I've heard May at the earliest. Every 2-4 months is a fair estimate as to their frequency.

Maybe my last post was a little vague. I meant the last AE that just came out. When will the training conversion sheet come out for it?
