Crew scheduling owns you until you sign in for the trip.
You can sign by calling them if you are at the airport.
Crew tracking owns you/your rotation AFTER you sign in.

Other than knowing they own me after sign in, I've never been instructed on who is responsible for what. Pilot Support Center, Chef Pilot Support Center, Chef Pilot Office, Crew Scheduling, Crew Resources, Crew Tracking...I usually just guess (often incorrectly) where to start with the issue of the day.
