I was passed for a GS today. The trip was legal; however, CS would have had to call me during an FAA 30/168 rest period. Do they owe me for this trip or would the call be considered breaking my 30 hours of rest? Mind you, I am not on reserve in the middle of a designated 30 hour rest period. Line holder but flew 6 days in a row and needed 30 hours to be legally assigned a trip.
Pretty sure they can't call you during "rest" under FAR117.

I talked to DALPA about something unrelated, but in the course of the conversation they said CS can contact you during the 30 hours. The FAA doesn't consider one attempt to break the rest. Call DALPA and ask for Curtis in Scheduling.
Vacation Slide
Can I slide a vacation that is before CQ training until after CQ training?
Not sure if it makes a difference but it is all within the same month - August.

Thanks Scoop

You can slide up to 24 days in either direction (using the range function) as long as the entire vaca remains in the bid period. Obviously it can't go over the CQ days.

There is no limit on the number of days you can move a vacation, just has to stay within the bid period. Not all vacations are 7 days.

Yup. You are correct. In my case it was 24. My bad.

Thanks. I made my case with the company and called ALPA as a backup. Looks like they owe me 10.5 hours, if they don't pay by Monday ALPA said they'd get the wheels turning for a grievance.
Hey. Whats the new online navtech pbs bidder link? I know if it was a snake it'd bitten me by now but I can't find it.
