Go onto the travelnet website and authorize him as a buddy. Then go find the flights you want and list him as the traveller. It will show you the price before you confirm you want to buy the ticket. It's the only way I know of to see the price of a buddy pass. Hope all is well.

MackBrown-TexasFootball.com The game against A&M really showed the explosiveness of the offense but I would have liked to have seen the defense play better. Thats one thing I'd like to see in the next games. IF both the offense and the defense show up with their A games then Texas will be very tough to beat. BTW my parents already bought their tickets to the National Championship game, now thats putting the cart before the horse :D Over a grand for 2 tickets as of right now fwiw |

That make sense. Several trips had a "Q" and I did not know what that meant. If someone is legal both contractually/FAR wise is there anything that would prevent them from picking up a trip either thru open time or the swap board? Thanks.

Open time is separated into Capt and FO groups so some trips will have either one or the other.
My guess as to what you are looking at is it's a "Qualified Personal Drop." This is where a regular line holder decides he wants to drop a trip but there are not enough reserves available to actually drop the trip so it goes into open time with a "Q" next to it on the open time line. The trip is still on his line and he will fly it if nobody wants to pick it up via a "white slip." If the trip shows in open time, any one in the category and base can pick it up and it will transfer to their line and the original guy will be off the trip. Most guys who really want to try and get rid of a trip will post it both as a "QPD" in open time and then also list it on the Swap Board. There are different rules governing the pick of time from open time vs from the swap board. Guys can add more time via the swap board. Hope this answers the question. Denny |

Contractually, the rules for max pickup are different between the swap board and open time. I BELIEVE if you pick up something from the swap board, you can pick up to the FAR limit as long as you do not exceed your PBS block hour limit. If you pick up from open time you are limited to what it says at the bottom of your schedule is your "max pick up." Your "max pick up" will change thoughout the month as you complete trips on your line. So if at one point you do not have enough time listed, this could change as the month progresses. If you want to check and see if you are legal for a particular trip, go to DBMS, PCS, Swap with Pot. I think option B is the "Rules Auditor." Type in what ever trips you want to swap/drop or pick up and it will tell you if you are legal to fly that trip with the options you have given it. Denny |

How long can I expect to go before the buttons on my jacket wear completely out? Leaving room: 4 buttons on, Getting into van: 4 buttons off, Out of van: 4 buttons on, Entering security: 4 buttons off, Leaving security: 4 buttons on, Entering cockpit: 4 buttons off. Repeat in reverse order at next layover. Who's idea was this anyway??? They MUST be retired and laughing their a$$es off about now. |

Or I just stay buttoned in the van. To much work... You're required to say "dang, I look good" each time you button up, too. |
Looking at the NYC 7ER B and the short call list for the 29th thru the 30th is not posted yet.
Since it is after 1500 in NYC the day before is there any consequences for that? |
