Another 330 sim was in the works until BK, it looks like we will get the approval for the one thats in Manchester...then move to MSP. We have 32 330's
They are trying to figure out how to move the Manchester sim. May be hiring big russian cargo plane to do the lifting. Funding for a brand new sim is approved for purchase from Thales. Takes about 12 months to build and certify. Havent been able to confirm the new sim part with anyone. |

Heyas,
My GF sewed the right set of brass buttons to a strip just on the inside of the holes (looks like they're buttoned). On the inside she just put a strip of velcro, with the other side on the other half of the coat. You can do it up with one hand in 1 second and you absolutely cannot tell the difference between it and a normal coat. It is full of win. Nu |

We have 21 767-400´s and 1 sim. 16 777´s and 2 sims, (and the new one says 777-300 on the digital display above the sim door). Any wonder 767-400 and A330 are not fenced? When you gonna get a training slot??
PS-100 pages to 2000, about 3 days? The bulk of the 767-400 transition training is done in regular 757/767 sims. The differences are taught in the 400 sim so they really don't need more then the 1 sim. The A330 however the entire transition course I am sure is taught in the A330 sim. From what the NWA guys have said about their only being 1 sim it sounds like the company line that they don't have enough sim time to move the flying is true. Perhaps next fall if they get the other sim they will start moving the time. In the near term ATL will take a hit with no replacement for the 767-400. Long term it should work itself out. |
I sure do not see this uniform going away. Hat and all. Best to get used to it.
