More awesome news for us. Now VA does LAX-SYD, LAX-Brisbane, LAX-Melbourne. All Delta code-share flights. And all we do is LAX-SYD. How is this crap legal? Isn't this supposed to be at least 50-50 flying shared between us and VA?

This is rapidly becoming a domestic airline. I am so glad Alaska gave us the finger. if not, we would be farming out domestic too.
How does non-revving on these routes work? In addition to all the flying we're yielding elsewhere, are we also losing international travel privileges or seniority in doing so?

Piece together for me how our waiting for an industry-leading contract affects outsourcing. Am I missing an international scope AIP that would solve these problems?

Uh, No, it's NOT supposed to be 50/50 until Vir Aus flies a lot more frequencies than they do now. By then we will have 350s and pick up more Australia <-> USA flying. It's in the PWA BTW.

I have mostly flushed TA15, but I believe there were global production balances that would protect us from further erosion of international JV/codeshare. I am sure someone way more knowledgeable can chime in on that if they want to. But you are missing the point.

Pick up nickles while stepping over dollars.

But I'm greedy, remember. It's all about my pay increase.

The dollars will still be there to pick up. This is about getting the SCOPE protections in place and improving brand scope with the opportunity provided. The failure of the TA was immediately followed by the CEA and GOL investment announcements. How long prior had those decisions been made? That was the wake up call for most who were paying attention.

Prior to that, this was hardly an issue. Although I had been beating that drum and profit sharing as a claw back for a long time before that. You're welcome.

Retro won't. Not at 18% jmho ymmv.

As long as we sit around whining about a sick note, those scope protections are getting harder to get as well.

Again, jmho

At least we don't have nonrev privileges on code share either. Wonder what easter eggs management had in store for us on international scope. Never did see their proposal. Let me guess:
1. Bend over
2. Squeal like a pig

Can you post some numbers on how fast we are losing international flying. You state it's rapidly happening. Some data would be good. I must be looking at the wrong numbers because I don't see any loss. Point me at the correct data.

You missed: Grab your ankles. It should be in between numbers 1 and 2.
