They gave me early recurrent, I talked to new airframe planners, they talked to old airframe planners and dropped my recurrent.

Same thing has happened with me. The computer simply fills the slots. If you get recurrent call them and they will remove it unless it's your grace month.

It also might help to call before it's awarded; if you're 'plugged into a slot', then removed, they'll still have to fill that slot. Explain the situation and they may remove your name from the list prior to running the award to avoid that situation.

Should be seeing pics of the first 350 soon, it's undergoing final assembly

Never ass-u-me the right hand knows what the left hand is doing. In 1992 they sent me to 757 F/O recurrent a week after I finished MD88 Captain school.

Yes, I went, no, I couldn't get out of it. I told the IP I was just going to put the gear up and down, and put my fingers in my ears for the rest of it!

He was good with that. :D

Thank God someone had some common sense! But you should call someone in training planning and let them know they are about to waste Everybody's time.

The guy in charge of our IT stability program also runs the annual training scheduling system.

Excellent news thanks for the update! Hopefully that mean A350 Category is opened on the next AE

I suspect you may see the first bid put off a bit unless they use the 1 year option. There are about 30 A350's that need to be delivered ahead of ours. They are running about 4 per month however have stated they are trying to up that to 6.5 per month this year. I am betting we see the first jet in Sep and only get 3 this year. The 747 may get yet another reprieve on its death sentence scheduled for DEC.

Any line on the over/under for the "junior" F/O in the initial A350 AE? Thinking seniority # 3250 will be "the plug."
