You could maybe leverage it into a net win, assuming all the stars lined up perfectly, by rolling thunder (sort of) but if that worked, then by definition pure rolling thunder would have worked too and that's way more consistently lucrative, and without the smattering of one days and SC's that (supposedly) commuters now have to be in position for
Exactly. Win win, it's a bread winner and productivity winner for the company and gives guys a little more control on reserve. Would cut down on GS'S though

Default Consolidation Refresher

What does the training footprint for a "consolidation refresher" course look like. Not going to make the 100hrs in 120 due to a leave of absence. They talk about in the instructor guide, but I can't seem to find how many training events it is.

If you're close they can extend it to 150 days. Or at least they could awhile back.

It depends on the situation. They can grant a extension to 150 days. That requires a flight with a LCA or 1 sim if I recall. After that it's at least a couple of sims. You need to call the training planner.

Hey guys,

Anybody have any experience with, or know of, Dr David Altman in Chicago? If so, please PM me. Thanks in advance.

Last guy I met In that situation got 2 sims and a 3 day OE. On paper he needed a couple of leg OE but he got 3 days just for the experience.

When CS runs the rules auditor prior to assigning a GS, do they account for 100/672 down the road? For example, if I have 45 hours of block in the past 300 hours, there is a 15 block hour GS available over the next 72 hours, and I have another 45 hours of block scheduled for the subsequent 300 hours (which would bring my total to 105/672), would CS pass me on the GS?

Thanks

You have to be legal for the trip based on your past flying and projected schedule. In the case you mentioned you would not get the trip.

The 117 rules are all 'rolling', so is it possible that 5 hours will 'drop off' as you go forward or did you take that into account?
