So, did the new 2nd quarter cbts. On the new system accessed via deltanet. It shows me complete. However, icrew still gives me the popup and it also aint showing on my timecard.

It never gave me a completion code to put into icrew, nor can I find one.

Look, my motivation for doing the cbts is 100% to make the damn popup go away.

Anybody solve this?

I think the new system isn't supposed to give a completion code, it just automatically says you're complete. But, this is Delta IT, so who the F knows what's going on. I'd call the Pilot Support Center and ask them.

You guys do realize that they can and do break up trips? It's extremely easy to break up say, a 5 day trip that transits a base and farm it out to another reserve pilot, and they can use any base reserve, just depends how they decide to rebuild the trip. It doesn't even need to go into open time, the just put remarks on the rotation "reserve only" and send it out to be staffed. It's all done pretty much behind the curtain. It's been my experience on reserve that unless you are rolling thunder, or in a very overstaffed category, that you have almost no control over whether you fly, or not, even considering yellow slips.

While some trips are better for this than others, you're technically right. However when they do that, it usually results in extra credit generated as well as 2 reserves to cover the same rotation day at the point of trip split.

The point isn't that they have no possible way of covering 4+ day trips; its that they will want to up the min on call sequence. We shouldn't entertain that.

It said I was complete but that didnt carry over to icrew.

PSC gave me a completion code to enter.

Actually, it does have to go into open time and they must follow the coverage steps in Sec 23. When they come to the step for out of base reserves, they can add DHs to both ends to make it work and that is where you will see "for reserve only."

Going to training on OCT 1-27 for new plane and position.

They did not convert me in October so I bid as a 7ERB for the month.

Should I bid a 12 day Asia trip for the last couple days of October which spills into Nov and then be bought off it?

Also of note, I drop dead (12 months since sim) on Oct 31.

Could they make me fly it after 737 training is complete?

Thanks,
Humboldt

Once you start training on your new equipment, you are "unqualified" on your previous airplane, therefore you won't fly as a 7ERB after 737 training.

As to bidding in a training month, there is a great PBS tutorial for that on the PBS Youtube channel and in the PBS Notepads. I'll be searching for them myself in a couple months.

Your PBS calendar for Oct should show training for those dates, so you won't be able to bid anything for your schedule.

Those days should reach LCW window. Then you'll have shadow for OE on the last 4 of Oct. If you can fit a 737 trip in those days, then bid it. Otherwise you'll just fill up with the training pay.
