We often have 8 day trips where you can deviate deadhead on the front and back, fly it as a 6 day and get 46 hours pay plus positive space to and from work.

Until we give up INTL VB....which is what the company really would like.

23.L. had several changes. Some good some bad. Double reroute starting the trip was bad. Read the NN for the details. Too much typing for this device.

So, being the conscientious dude I am, I call the duty pilot figuring, hey, I'm just gonna DH back! Cool! But no, the inbound FLT from SLC had canceled and I got rerouted to stay in AMS another day and fly relief Captain to Detroit, layover and DH home making it a 5 day trip now worth 26:55. The good part, I got an additional 16:52 reroute pay because the reroute got me home more than 30 hrs after my scheduled trip. (International rule for RR pay that becomes 25 hrs on July 2) I got to DTW and deviated DH and went home on the same day.

You get a gold star and atta-boy of the day.

Default Reserve to line GS

So if I get a GS that carries over to the following month how does it work if you are going from a reserve to a regular line?

I'm guessing that you get payback days and pay above guarantee for the block hrs flown in the reserve month. Do you then get double pay no credit for the block hrs and any trip credit for the line month too? Also does it count as GS#1 for the line holder month?

That will NOT count as GS#1 for the next month, so you're good on that. Not sure about the pay, but I'd think you'd get double pay for those hours as well as any back end credit. Check both month's timecard and see what they say.

You have it right for the PB days and pay. As Gloopy said, it does NOT count as GS#1 in the regular line month.

Out of Base white slips.
Killing green slips.
Hate when that happens.

Those guys can easily see that there are no reserves left and greenies are going out. Yet they are doing it anyway.

Perfectly within the contract. But jeez.

They must be channeling their inner Snoop Dogg..

"You gotta get yours, but fool, I gotta get mine...."

In all seriousness. Does someone really white slip before looking at reserve coverage? If so, I ask you to PLEASE STOP!
