Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
How high and below the ALV can your line be?
Its interesting, fwiw, to look and see December and see estimated lines and actual. Estimated on the 88B was like 330, actual was 375.
I guess it could be low if everyone asked for max credit but I'm sure people would rather do a ATL-BNA-ATL two day on white slip or green slip then be commited to max credit. So hopefully the lines exceed estimated.
As to the 320...
GET EM!

And if we're the secret order-er then you don't know how much I'm going to enjoy listening to some of these Airbus haters down here have absolute connipition fits.
Wait... I forgot, I might not be in ATL anymore to hear it but when I get back, I hope to hear it.

Aw shucks, it would be great, but they would have had to give us those really cheap to keep us away from the 330's that BBC-AFS has
Four years..... See it to believe it. We do need to pay down debt though.

So not to be devious or anything, but say you're DAL-S living in SEA or PDX commuting to SLC 88 A and you want to be SEA based. So in order to become SEA based do you not bid on this AE but put a MD in for the 330 above all other choices?
The reason I ask, I just wonder if the company will notice a lot of red flags as to training costs if someone had the seniority to pull said MD bid and would get A330 but the A330 is supposedly going east and ERs coming west so thats going to be double training costs in short order.
Just wondering how they'd handle that, I would guess you get two types in short order.

ACL, we could just print the money. Delta Bucks and Skymiles. Pay down our debt that way.
I've got it covered.

We should do like Fedex and run a "Practice" AE to see where everyone wants to go...

FTB,
I am not sure if it works that way. I think the max credit relies on some people requesting min credit. For example, If there are 100 lines and 7200 hours the ALV would be 72.
So if everyone were to request max credit it would seem to be self defeating because contractually the ALV has to within a window, so it could not award everyone max credit without raising the ALV and lowering the number of lines as you suggest. Now if half the guys request min credit the other half could get max credit without raising the ALV.
Then again I could be 100% wrong on this issue.

The bid administrator will use the threshold to get the actual ALV within 1 hr of the pre-published ALV. When they can not get the ALV to work out, they will then start limiting the max/min bidders. From what I understand, limiting max/min rarely happens.
