Rumor I heard awhile back was ALL 777s and ALL 765s to JFK. That would REALLY cause some movement, hence the debate you mentioned.
I can't imagine all 777's going to NYC... too many departures out of ATL and DTW for that to happen.

You're right...It should have read '...ALL 777s to DTW...' Anyhow, that's the rumor I heard, for what little any rumor is worth, Right?

While we're at it, I heard we're opening a base in Easter Island with 777LR's and will be serving the entire southern hemisphere from there.

I was serious. A lead mechanic who heard it from his boss who plays golf with RA told me so.

320 pilots will soon be getting this email:

Due to an error in the A-320 bid packages for January, the bid window for all A-320 categories (DTW, MEM and MSP) has been extended and will now close at 1700E on December 14th. If you submitted a bid earlier than 1700E on December 7th please ensure you download the updated bid package and resubmit your bids for January schedules. The award deadline for your January schedules will still be no later than 1800E on December 17th.
