EDIT: and like a good teenager, I accidentally chopped that cable up when my dad had me use a rototiller on the front flower beds :D

I also live on a flag lot. 1500 feet to the nearest road, way too long for coax cable or DSL. Fortunately, fibre can run for miles and that was an option for me. AT&T 1000Mb fibre optic. Hopefully it will come to your area sometime. Meanwhile, some sort of cellular hotspot would be my next choice if you are within range of a cell tower.

If I put trip on swap board for someone to buy for landing currency, do you get paid like removal for OE?

Not if you put it on the regular swap board. If it gets picked up from you it'll just process as a drop and you lose the value.

A pilot in need of currency (who has exhausted YS request and no luck) will be able to choose a trip out of the bid package. Must then notify the pilot they are taking the trip from. Submit the deltanet "land currency form(?) And the trip will be bought off for the individual seeking currency.

You cannot just put it on swap board. The value of the trip will be removed from your line as mentioned earlier.

In my LOE brief I found out that Delta is taking delivery of three 330-900’s this year. Don’t know about other fleets but it sounds like there will be more delivery’s this year in other fleets too.

Nice! I believe we are trying to work financing to take delivery of two to three A220-300s as well.

Hope you get to finish up flying one of those new NEOs!

We are contractually obligated to take delivery of a lot of aircraft this year and next. Some we will be able to get out of and some we won’t. Those we get out of will cost us a financial penalty that add to the cost of acquiring the aircraft later. Those penalties were a direct reason the 777’s are getting parked. Cheaper to deliver the 350’s.

Well I’m guessing I got (by happenstance) what a lot of pilot were fishing for......a later in the window retirement date. I’m getting used to the idea and will make it work out. And I should be able to get a fini flight by then!!!:)
