Thanks for the info. I will probably just YS a 2 day since that will keep me in the Jan bid period. I might try the X day move or a PD as well.

If you are a single minute under Res guarantee, they can fly you to ALV +15, and fly you into x days (or Reg days off) in the next month. Ask me how I know...

*edit* iaflywr types faster, but is right too. Though, you have to move an x day 72 hours prior I think. You might not be able to square that corner.
Now that you mention it, that is what he said about the credit, I just mis-remembered it.

Thanks guys, the APC knowledge base is awesome!

And the other person that actually got the trip should get an additional two hours of pay also, right? LOA 20-4 says EVERY pilot in the batch will receive remediation of two hours pay/no credit.

So if you were the pilot that actually got the ARCOS trip, how do you know if someone else on the batch was contacted when they shouldn't have been? I don't know if somebody else's phone rang or not.

Usually right after the last flight departs to commute home.

Usually around 2-4 days prior. They may not release you until show time .

Thx. Had a Jan to feb trip that was showing training for 3 weeks and got called night prior to release..... silly me thinking those things might continue! But I was not assigned my OE until during my 44x so I should not be surprised.

Well. In the interest of preserving a great line of discussions and info sharing such as this thread, should we keep it going to 30000 and beyond, or start a new thread to succeed it? Thinking about calling it

Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta? Version 2.0

The one immediate benefit would be shorter load times for some. Any previous content of course would be searchable via the search box. The question is: would any long time contributor be interested in the honors of starting a new Delta G&L or simply prefer to keep the current thread? Thanks to all the contributors to Delta's L&G as I am a beneficiary of your combined knowledge and know-how.

I’ve been out for a year but headed to class soon. What’s the eating options like on domestic layovers?

Not. Dead. Yet.

Varies by state although most options are improving. The biggest problem is a lot of in airport food options are not available. LAX Terminal two has been pathetic and even the mighty ATL has greatly cut back on food options. If you drink coffee you might want to bring a thermos becasue when a coffee shop is open the line is very long. Denver terminal A in the morning - fuggedaboutit. Oh yeah - no paper cups in the aircraft either.

The general trend has been improving so by the time you hit the line it will probably be better.

Scoop

Scoop beat me to it. (Good) Coffee is for some reason very difficult to find. I purchased some canned coffees that I throw in my bag when traveling.
