I just realized the problem, the DAL-S QRH's have a nice plastic ring binder that you can open and close to put in updates. The one that I got today is spiral bound and thus impossible to make updates to. Ughhh

Thanks for the link ACL, I will sign up.

Yes, but it is nice to have a reference prior to CQ.

Also you can ask for a new binder.

I think the SLC 767 will be gone before they convert it. Having the 767, 737, and 320 category in SLC doesn't make much sense since from SLC they can use the 320 to do almost all of the domestic flying that the 757 and 800 do. That would free up the 800's and 757's for other "stuff". I've heard some rumblings of this from some LCA.

Been talking to crew resources quite a bit lately due to my impending return from mil leave. Earlier this week they said the bid was going to be out NLT the 12th. Then today they said the 15th. As far as the training backlog, apparently it's not as bad as has been claimed. I'm back on the payroll 1 Jan, start indoc on the 14th, and start 755 training on 3 Feb. Interestingly enough, my indoc is in MSP, but my 755 training is in ATL. I asked what they expected as far as growth of the DTW 755 category, but they were really tight-lipped about it.

Hopefully when that happens we'll see a like increase in the number of pilots on the 320 or SLC will become untouchable for all but those with 10-15 years of seniority. I'd actually prefer a 320 base with about 300 per seat over three small categories like we currently have. Throw a small 330 category in there to cover CDG, NRT, and the rumored AMS and I'd be happy.

Was told by CP yesterday that there would be 18 more crews in DTW than currently in NYC.
