Open time trips for OE
 

Can the company pull trips from open time (not QPD time, just regular open time) and give them to a LCA so he can do OEs? Have seen several trips that were sitting in open time disappear and discovered they were given to a LCA to give OE, sometimes to a LCA at a different base with a deadhead attached..

That was a TA2 Concession.

As others have noted the trip can be pulled. If you want the trip however make sure you have a request in for it. Those trips often pop back into open time. The company is required to do so if they have not placed it on a LCA’s line within a defined period.

What are peoples thoughts on how this Russia/Ukraine is going to affect the airline industry?

Could escalate into WW3, could de-escalate into nothing. Oil could got to $200 a barrel. Could be looking at another lost decade. We'll see.
