Thanks found it last night! Appreciate the reply.

Trying to prep my Christmas off strategies. Does vacation time count towards FULL on reserve?

Kind of....

Vacation is considered pay/credit for line construction purposes, but in actuality it just pay.

From the time card take your credit applicable to REG GS pay, then subtract your vacation pay...this should equal the Res Guarantee on the time card, which is adjusted to account for the vacation pay / fewer RES on call days.

When you reach this adjusted Res Guarantee, you are now FULL.

What he said. Reserve guarantee is prorated for the number of days available. There’s a chart in the bid package that shows reserve guarantee for how many days of availability you have. If your whole vacation week is within the month you’ll end up getting higher that reserve guarantee pay because vacation days are usually worth more than reserve days.

This only works after your schedule is posted in DBMS. For planning purposes use the PBS Reserve pay excel calculator found at crew resources/PBS Help and Resources page. Might help you figure out your chances of getting to full early.

Good page for all the new hires to know about. I use the reserve line simulator and reserve pay calculator every month during bidding.

Summer? Winter? Line Holder? RES? What's your seniority? so many variables.

My quick scan of DTW packages shows quite a few five day trips with 15-16 total legs.

Also saw some 3 days with 7 total legs.

My guess: 2-3 legs per day average.
