6.95 unlimited? Thought that it was more.....

First flight is scheduled for 10AM PST weather permitting which doesn't look so hot right now.

Nice, too bad I will be busy.

I pay 9.95 a month for unlimited. It has a lot of functionality and it is a business deduction!

Makes a lot of sense since it will be done on smaller jets.
Are you sure, I always thought of capacity as a function of ASM which can be increased with block hours, not necessarily more metal? I think a 5.7% capacity increase matches up with the 11% increase in domestic block hour flying that was stated before. International may be flat, but if domestic is half the product then you would have a 5.7% capacity increase.

I have no idea why I got the schedule I got.

Is it common for them to change schedules from what they post on the crew skeds page to what they post on the DBMS (??) the bidding screen?

Not common at all, but it has happened. You should be able to tell why you got your sked from the Reasons Report.

They are unstacking Jan 1,2,3 big time. I guess everybody wanted New Year's off.

Some of Continental's Pay Package proposal:

Pay Categories:
A. 787,777,767-400, 330, 340
B. 767-200, 757-300
C. 757-200, 737NG, A320, A321
D. 737-700, A319

International & Red Eye Override: $6 CA, $4 FO

Drug Test: 30 minutes pay

Company Pays $5 fee to pilot for mistakes in pay / audit / claims. Successful pay claims applied to entire crew.

Gate Delay Pay when passengers boarded and block out is delayed for more than an hour

Pay tied to Cabin Door boarding and deplaning

EWR - Cost of living allowance of $6,000

Engine run pay of 30 minutes. Repo pay no less than 30 minutes.

Interesting stuff, particularly the EWR pay. Makes sense if you don't want your company arbitrarily moving pilots to an expensive and unpopular base. Parts of it are not too much better than we have now.
