It does. I agree with what you think and where your thoughts are based.

This group is educated, but not to the extent that we are. More emotion would play in to it, and there could be major headaches for them going forward. What I want them to do is immaterial. I do have an opinion though. (I can argue both sides of it too!)

Now, they're mostly redeyes out of LAX and some decent stuff out of SNA. 85% used to hold a line, that's come way down now to around 60% or so. I haven't really figured out why. I just know I'm backsliding and on my way out probably. Looking at the little bus in SLC.

Buzz,

Didn't you hear? ATL is losing widebody seats - nobody cares about us peasants in the provinces. :)

Add to it that if (god forbid it would) there ever was a problem with the aircraft, wouldn't a senior guy be far better to have on a DC-9 and a younger guy (with much better understanding of data) be far better to have on a 777 or similar ac?

So, yes, the conclusion I come up with is that everybody wins and you are junior when you are junior, just like you are supposed to be (like me..).

Is this really a problem at DAL - with 10 year + upgrade times?

YES!!!

Hey NuGuy, I got BidAsstant 3 to load and it does use all the Delta stuff great.

Thanks for turning me on to it, I saw the beta version for it but just thought it was something for old NWA since I hadn't updated in a while.

You da man!

PS Hey Southies...........go look at ghale.com It's a great program. For sorting etc it's about like NavTec but the post award products are much better. Plus, it's a onetime charge to buy the program in the stopover store and free upgrades after that. I had version 2 so version 3 was free.

I was referring to my statements to your post. Not the reference. Not as young as you think.

Agree 100% (in the last year fallen from 20% to 60%), trips have gone downhill and more non-commutable trips (especially SNA). Not really keen on going to school but the small bus in Salt Lake is starting to look pretty good.

Your trips were so good a year ago I was looking at bidding out. Man they have gone down hill......

Is there a minimum number of days per block? Can it be 5 days for one block and 1 day for another? Also, what is the max number of golden days total?

Thanks.

I'm thinking the same thing. May try and AE into an A position (talk about a real hail mary @ at 6600ish) but I'm thinking MD or VD to 320B, learning to speak bus with a Delta accent and then waiting till I can hold 320A with a chance of a block.

See ya in school my friend, I'll need an ally to say "on a Boeing we did it this way". The bus guys REALLY LIKE THAT:eek::D
