But I understand your point. I'm sure all the folks who were lamenting that NWA had nothing but lousy bases and lousy aircraft would never have had any of those choices on their MD's. ;)

Look at it this way, by getting knocked out of LAX ( commuting three time zones to NYC with a 5:45 enroute segment up to five times a month) and Delta signing a ten year codeshare with Alaska you probably saved a few hundred Alaska pilots from furlough or being displaced out of Socal to SEA. That's a team player.

What an industry we live in.
