He is certainly deserving of a big "Thank You" and you can do that with a "Lift" using myDeltaRewards. It's not easy to get to but click on "Employee Info | Rewards Programs" and then go thru the "Gaining Altitude" link. It would be nice if they made this easier.

Quick question: If you AE into a category and have a 2 year seat lock, can you bid into a new base and airplane if they start one (ie. MD-90 DFW)? Thanks.

Also, how long is Dc-9 training?

I know I'm not the only one sick of this SEC crap! I have to drill in Pensacola and I'm inundated with this self love bs all the time. Everyone knows real football is played in the Big 10 and the Big 12, hence the moniker "big." Try to remember that the "S" stands for Southern, implying the 'South,' the veritable armpit of the country. Enough!

Another group that should be recognized through this holiday is Crew Resources. I understand they've been working some long hours to get this bid together. One of them joked that hey haven't seen their family since last year.....

If there's a new category, the freezes do not apply.

I understand a full school to the DC9 is around a month with off days included.

I'm a North guy, & I don't have my contract on me but I'm almost certain the answer is yes. As long as it's the same airplane, you can move to another base no problem.

For your other question, I think DC9 initial training takes about 2-3 weeks not including OE. Full systems course plus procedures trainer plus Full Flight Sims will probably take about that. I think it's 6 sims or so. I'm probably wrong though.

When I requaled on the DC9 after my displacement I got a short requal which was 1 day of systems & 3 sims(including my checkride), but that was because I had flown it on the line in the last 12 months. They'd never do that on an initial qual!!!

I agree. They're working very hard, & I think they should receive recognition.

Thanks for getting the results out so fast!

Congratz to evryone!!! Happy new Year!! Just a few points

The Flow----- I thought that everone that was hired at Compass has an ATP and meets the DAL minimums...

I had a net of 36 guys come to the ATL 88b on top of me, but since they added 34 positions, I am at the same %......cannot argue with that!!!

Bring on the hiring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause I believe we, The Mad Dawggers are gonna be flying our Walnuts off this summer!!!

Bring on Alaska!!!
