The ATL Chief Pilot was in the lounge pretty much all day on Christmas and again on New Years Day. I just wanted to post how much I appreciated him being there. I am sure he didn't have to do that.

HP - The web board does not represent you - the only way guys on here "know you" is via your posts, so you could say your posts represents you. We all post negative stuff once in a while it's not a big deal, but when you disagree with someone do so politely and with facts. Also throw in some of these every now and then - it helps set the tone, which can be difficult to do on a web-board, especially if you are typing in a hurry.

Its possible lots of guys VD and MD into a category but no one junior to you got a AE and your VD might not have had the seniority to hold it. If thats not the case give them a call and they will give you the bid.
I think you missed the part where he said it was a brand new category. Good advice nonetheless.

Thanks Sailingfun! I'm sure that I'm missing something in this, but it sure appears that I should have been awarded this position in an AE. The entire VD issue is a little more cloudy to me, but I'm working on it.

It is a new category, so that may be part of the issue. Good news is I'm on the aircraft I wanted, but just not the base. If I can't get it worked out with Crew Resources and the Union, then I'll have the next bid possibly.....

Respectfully,

TC

He was there on Thanksgiving day also and was passing out cookies that his wife made. I admire a leader who shares in the sacrifices required by those he leads.

The SEC First Committee hereby absolves Tsquare from from rooting for the Gators during Bowl Season. Heck even, your Chairman, was happy that Auburn won. Of course I didn't watch the game to keep from actually cheering for them in public...

By proclamation this 2nd day of January 2010

Besides the upheaval in our lives caused by AE/VD/MD just look what this merger has done to College Football! The world is turned Topsy Turvy, with the Big 10 actually good and the SEC falling. I can't tell if it is because Northwest being bought by Delta raised the Big 10 up or did the SEC fall because of the influence.

After looking at the amount of change fostered on both sides, and the quality of the people of the North, I think it can not be the latter. So congrats Norhies! You have made our company a better place, but we improved your football.

How else can you explain the bowl games? I feel like Al Gore, grasping at straws...
