Continental and UAL reported higher load factors ect... Both those stocks are up because of the news. DAL and the other airlines are following their lead despite the rise in oil. (CNBC)

Beat you both. Sit down, in the back of the class, and try to learn.

See, I learn something new on here everyday. Er's have two jumpseats. Now, how do you know if the airplane pulling up to the gate is an er? ETOPS on the side? Because, if I remember correctly, you guys said some of the 757's are er's, right?

Let me guess, henceforth you will be known as "80 Kts Throttle Hold."

It's a big process, with many permutations. It's pretty easy to see if a junior pilot got the ward you diserved, but a lot more difficult to see how the parts ofthe system work together. Which tells you the integrity of the process, the methods used, must be beyond reproach.
Sink, I completely agree with you. I believe that CR has to do a top down review of this bid and "make it right", so we have confidence in the system.

The only -ERs we have are the 17 ex-TWA airplanes. They are the 68XXTW series and all have winglets. They have ETOPS on the nose gear doors.

The Feb bid packages are out. Northern Dudes - take note that according to Delta the Gregorian calendar is incorrect and so Delta made the following correction:

At Delta February will now and forever include 31 January and 01 March - spread the word.

Not sure how much they stressed it in fNWA info (if at all?) but I'd think it's reasonable to say that even if they didn't know about it, after they get the pop up screen reminding them to enter the expenses, they'd at least ask a question of somebody?
That's good to know there is a pop-up screen. I am a little surprised that some guys didn't seem to understand what the pop-up screen meant. I think the north guys are pretty aware of claiming per diem. It always seemed like we were reminding each other during training.

They ought to just pay us a flat rate per diem for training like they do for medicals. Just give us $50 a day and call it good.
