In MSP for a few days of training...man that place is not the same. Lots of empty desks on the 3rd floor now, old classroom areas reconfigured, and huge remolded area with door mock ups for FA and Pilot training. Even saw a triple 7 door mock up all though I was told I could not touch it for five more years.... :)
The most interesting thing to come out of the rumor hotbed that is the 3rd floor....nothing. They are either playing coy with the information or they are in the dark on what is going on. I have a feeling it is the latter. The center of the universe has shifted south. So a request to all my new South buddies, please keep the rumors coming because it looks like the pipeline from the north is closing fast. Luckily the 3rd floor rumor hotbed has been largely inaccurate. I remember all the talk from there about 1000+ furloughs a few months back. Perhaps they were stripped of their rumor privaleges? :) |

So Delta REALLY does not know how to handle IROPS in DTW. What a disaster some snow has caused.
Nothing like being on hold for over an hour with Crew Accomodations trying to get a hotel room due to a in domicile overnight reroute(my 4th reroute on day 2 of a 4 day) only to have a 9 hour overnight. :mad: My first 2 16.5 hour overnights have been less then 12 now. I wonder what tomorrow holds in store for me. :p |

Yes I heard that rumor as well. It came from a group on the 3rd floor who were all being layed off. It was a misery loves company kind of rumor I think. .......hey is that Super running on the field? |

WAR DAMN EAGLE! and hook 'em horns - although that's not looking very promising right now. As I write this, it looks like a streaker (Super??) is getting tackled in the Texas endzone. Unfortunately they zoomed out to the blimp cam so we won't know for sure until later. Currently 24-6 Bama with 11:00 remaining in the 3rd for all you folks that can't get to a TV. |
